UGA Terry College of Business – Supreme decision for LGBT workers

The research article this illustration goes along with is about how the U.S. Supreme Court plans this fall to hear LGBT job discrimination cases and rule on whether the federal civil rights law protects those individuals. Employers could receive more clarity for creating inclusive employment policies, but a recent paper by a Terry legal studies professor argues that one claim under the 1964 act is the least persuasive and potentially most likely to be rejected by a court.
