I am pretty snazzy illustrator whose work for both adults and children has helped bring a bit of sunshine to magazines, advertising, books, and newspapers around the world. I currently reside in the Rocky Mountains with my beautiful wife, my family, and a pack of goofy dogs.
My illustration has been featured in Communication Arts, 3x3 magazine, graced the cover of HOW Magazine, been the face of the LA Times Festival of Books, and has been honored by the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, and the Art Directors Club. It still makes it on my mother's fridge from time to time. The fact that I'm snazzy is not news to her.
A few of the fine folks I've worked with:
Disney // The New York Times // The Boston Globe // The Wall Street Journal // The LA Times Festival of Books // Workman Publishing // Gallison Mudpuppy // Quarto Books // IBM // Transunion // ESPN // US Airways // Fortune Magazine // Ad Age // Mac World // AAA // The Harvard Business Review // Live Happy // The Southern Poverty Law Center // Major League Baseball // USA Soccer // OtterBox // Kroger // Publix // Dewar’s Whiskey, and many more.
These illustrations for U.S.News & World Report go along with an article that discusses discipline strategies for parents to use when their patience is tested by their children and their nerves are shot.
