MLB – Childhood Memories

This illustration, for Major League Baseball, goes along with an essay about how the best baseball team is the one you followed when you where 11 years old. The author talks about how it doesn’t matter how good or bad that team was, there’s just something so magical about being 11 and loving baseball. The essay goes on to talk about how those memories can come flooding back to you as an adult, after years of baseball apathy, if your team makes the playoffs. The author’s favorite team was the 1978 Oakland A’s – so I conjured him up a time machine.
