How Magazine – Cover Illustration

I am honored to have been asked to illustrate the cover of HOW Magazine’s self promotion annual. I was first approached by HOW and asked if they could reuse this illustration, since self promo is often about blowing your own horn to get attention. Though, after much fussing on my end, I presented a second option where I pushed the illustration further by adding my lil’ mustachioed man, to make the whole thing more hip. I illustrated all of the headlines.
