7 Billion & Counting

This illustration for Harvard Public Health Review magazine is about the exponential growth of the human population. If you think the world is crowded now, just wait a few years. Between today and 2050, our 2011 global population of roughly 7 billion could expand by an estimated 2.3 billion people and countries that are currently having shortages of drinking water, food, and shelter will only see those problems multiply.
